Praise the Lord everyone. I want to share with you my awesome testimony of how Jesus healed me. In order to know how I got to where I am you must know where I started. In a course of twenty-one years I was sick. I had seven different diseases all of which had no cure. In, 1983, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis which left me paralyzed from the neck down confined to a wheelchair. I would go in and out of remission causing me at times to use a wheelchair and at times to use a cane. In 1995, I was diagnosed with Fibromylagia. This disease causes severe pain in the muscles, ligaments, and tendons throughout the body. In 1996, I was diagnosed with Bullae Pemphigus and Sarcoidisis. Bullae Pemphigus produces painful blisters to form all over the body. Sarcoidisis produces tumors to form on the lungs. In 2003, I began to experience problems swallowing. I was told I had a tumor the size of a golf ball in my neck. I had to have surgery and was told the tumor was wrapped around my carotid artery and crushed my esophagus. The damage was so severe; I was told that I would never be able to eat solid food again. I survived for one year and one month eating baby food, drinking Ensure, and food blended up into liquid form. Also in 2003, I was diagnosed with a disease called Ehlers-Danlos. This disease made it impossible to walk without leg and knee braces and crutches. I also developed problems with my left valve of my heart leaking and a bleeding problem. I was told by several doctors that there was nothing more they could do for me. The diseases I had were all rare and without any cures I would surely die.
I am a former member of Bethesda Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith where the late Bishop James A. Johnson, D.D. was my Pastor. While I was at church, Bishop was preaching from the book of St. Mark chapter 16 verses 14-20. Bishop said someone was going to be healed today. He asked for all the ministers to stand and walk out into the aisles. He told everybody to walk up to the ministers and for the ministers to lay hands on the people and say, “in the name of Jesus”. I needed assistance to walk down the aisle but I was determined not to miss my blessing. As I walked back to my seat, I could tell my body was healed. My husband drove me to my cousin’s house after church at which time I took off my braces and threw my crutches down. I began to run as fast as I could. I told my family to give me something to eat. I chewed up some turkey and potatoes and swallowed for the first time in one year and one month.
On August the 8th, 2004, God healed me. I leave you with this message. No matter what it looks like, no matter what the doctor’s report says, no matter how much pain is in your body, God is able to heal. There is nothing to hard for Him if we only believe.
